3ds Max SDK Template Plug-in Projects and Utility Classes

In the 3ds Max 2011 SDK documentation we had promised some template (skeleton) plug-ins to be posted online. Unfortunately we were not able to deliver these as planned via official channels in a timely manner. Instead I am posting them to my blog as an "unofficial" set of utilities.

In this fiile (templates.zip) you will find:

  • A set of template skeleton projects (one for each major plug-in type) that you can build your own projects from.
  • A set of utility classes that can simplify the construction of plug-ins.
  • Some plug-ins built from the templates and shared code base.
  • A help file (CHM) that describes how to use the templates and utility classes

While there is some room for improvement on these projects, I hope you find them useful nonetheless.
