In 3ds Max 2016 Extension 1 a set of new operators were added to Max Creation Graph (MCG) to enable the creation of rigid body simulations using the Bullet physics library. Here are a couple of samples to help you get started.

Inspired by a user’s MCG geometry stacking modifier, I decided to try my hand at something similar. In other news I'll be doing a presentation on procedural content creation at Siggraph on Tuesday August 11th as part of the Autodesk Vision Series.
In this blog post I share an MCG tool for computing curvature and storing it in the vertex color channel. I also share a couple of fun little tools: one for coloring grey-scale vertex colors and another for smoothing the vertex colors. I also discuss the TriMesh, data channels, mapping channels, and vertex colors.
Now that 3ds Max 2016 is available for download the team and I have uploaded a set of sample MCG tools to play with and learn from.
