My colleagues in the workflow and dynamic media team, who produce the YouTube learning channels, recently snatched from my team an SDK documentation protege Martin Ashton.
The good news for you is that he is now producing awesome video-based learning material on scripting and SDKs. Here is Martin's first video which explain how to write, load, and execute Maya plug-ins using Python.
As one of the viewers recently said: "great video, now if only the documentation for maya was this detailed.".
Ouch, right where it hurts! Of course, some sections of the documentation are now much better thanks to Martin's contributions (e.g. the Maya python learning path).
