I show how to use a special modifier called Attribute Hold to control the animation of 3 different bitmaps on a single model.
This post explores the principles of modeling 3D topology with a 2D spline method called “surface modeling.” In the first vide I provide a fundamental explanation and example of how to create these surfaces using splines and the Surface modifier and the Cross-Section modifier as well as the rules associated with them. In the second video, I show a basic work flow for creating an organic 3D object using splines and the aforementioned modifiers. I also explain how to control the type of topology generated and provide strategies for topology control. Skill level for these videos is beginner to intermediate.
