That's cool. But with this (and every spreadsheet type window in Maya), you should be able to sort the display of entries by clicking on the column heading. It's kind of crazy having to build in functionality that lets you export the data out so you can import it into another piece of software just to do that.

Very typical of AutoDesk. After all they have a text editor for mel/python, one of the most essential parts of the program, that is hard-coded to a 9pt font size, white on black with no adjustment possibilities at all and no hook for an external editor. To have a table that has none of the essential table properties is right along company guide lines.

Cool -- but next time please put the microphone farther from the keyboard and mouse. Every keystroke is giving me a headache.

This seems to be a completely undocumented feature...?

xixac: To change the font size hold Ctrl and roll with the mouse wheel inside the Script Edtitor.

@3DMonkey We talked about the possibility of making the table tool more powerful but it wasn't the highest priority for the tool. We felt there was enough value in the tool that people would be ok with sending the data to a dedicated spreadsheet app.

Thanks for posting this on the feedback forums.
