Nice to see Nex will be part of the future Maya.
Will it be fully integrated (replace old modeling tools) or will it have a switch on/off as it is in the current plug-in?

thanks, nice to see this in Maya
I hope you guys also have the rigging tools more expanded, like
Pose Space Deformation, space switching for animations without scripting, better deformation like fStretch.

that would be nice

firstly that is really cool.
I do hope it or something similar will be a part of my as complete toolset and not another plug-in that will disappear after a version or so.

I think that Maya is due for an overhaul to speeder up and fix her bugs that some of them are there since version 8.
but their other forums for that conversation.

all I want is a faster Maya, updated tools and improved workflow.

So, Nex seems to work fine with Maya 2014 and the preview show-casing Blue Pencil looks pretty nice, too. Seems as if developers got much earlier access this year, so plugins should become available sooner. That is definitely a positive change ; )
