Painting News

Posted by Cory Mogk, 1 December 2009 4:05 am

The first bit of news is Mudbox on Linux - The Autodesk Consulting team worked with Dreamworks and Sony Pictures Imageworks to get Mudbox running in their linux based pipelines. Maya's been running on linux for a while and it's always nice to get other products joining us there.

The other news is that SketchBook Mobile (SketchBook Pro for the iPhone) has surpassed 1,000,000 downloads from the app store. Congrats to the SketchBook team on this one! If you haven't checked it out, the SketchBook Mobile Flickr page is a cool gallery of customer work.

Some latebreaking news - Mudbox 2010 SP1 is now available. Read the release notes if you like.
