You can take the AO map baked baked from Mudbox2009 and in your 2d image editor multiply it over your diffuse color texture then merge the layers. You can then use this as your final diffuse color map. This will really help to improve details in your sculpt. Note that one the AO map is baked and displayed as a texture layer you have the option to directly paint the AO map if you like to add or enhance areas of the map if you like.

Yes! thank you! cant tell you what a huge help this was, we've been trying to figure out what the optimal settings were since we got the new service pack here at the studio.
