Last week we announced the Student Expert Program and that we are actively recruiting students to participate in this program. We received quite a few inquiries so we thought we should give you a little more information. The program is an elite group of students that Autodesk takes an active role in mentoring on our products. What we ask of these students is to take the mentoring that we give and pay it forward to their student piers. If you feel like you are the type of student that would like to take advantage of this special program, please let us know by applying at this link: Student Expert Program Application
On the Student Expert topic, we thought it would be nice to feature some of the work on occasion by the members. Matthew Howorko is one of our student experts at the University of Calgary. Matthew is currently studying mechanical engineering but is also very versed in 3dsMax. In this example, at Render Spirit, Matthew shows a visualization workflow using 3dsMax to create his “Winter House” scene. Render Spirit Link
Now on to part 6 in our on-demand video series. In this episode David Bentley shows the creation of our final character rendering in Sketchbook Designer. The following week we will focus on creating the images to be used as images planes in Autodesk Maya. Don't forget to leave a comment if you like what you see or have suggestions!
