We return to our weekly video series after all the hard work and fun at Autodesk University. There is lots of great material available so make sure you check it out if you haven't done so already. 

In this video we continue where we left off in Part 9 where we worked on the Torso and Arms.  We focus on adding the legs and boots to our model and maintain the same level of clean topology.

@infinitD Thanks for following! We release new videos every Wednesday. We have one more video from this series before the Christmas break, then we'll return on January 9th. We'll be featuring Smoke 2013 for the last post in December.

Great tutorial and this is the only updated modeling tutorial that made me open my eyes upon modeling.. before I thought that modeling was all about copy and paste, but I thought how amazing games made their models on characters, and then I went to youtube and saw this amazing tutorial. Thank you so much for this tutorial and I hope you continue making lots more of great tutorials.

Also I have a question... in your custom tab what are the things in it that would help me at advanced modeling? Because I'm thinking of making a model and I wanted to know what tools you used in your custom tab, what are their name and where can I find them? Because when I tried to find them I only found about 2-4 of them.

We are at the modeling stage of our series and the next videos will cover the following:

Modeling the Hand
Adding Details to the Mesh
UV Mapping
Adding Textures using Mudbox
Rigging
Animation with Maya and Motion Builder
Brining it into Unity

We are only focusing on the body right now but want to do a section around modeling his head

In regards to my custom tab here is what I have:

Merge Vertex Tool
Polygon Split(This is the legacy tool not the new one)
Delete Edge/Vertex
Insert Edge Loop Tool
Hypershade Window
Center Pivot
Move Normal
Extrude
Smooth
Hide Unselected Objects
Show Selection
Hide Selection

I know a couple of them are custom smooth scripts for another project
