Hello everyone and welcome to the Media and Entertainment Education Blog brought to you by Chris Hall and Steve Vasko.
So what’s the blog about? We want to use this space to highlight the great learning, educational and professional resources that we think students and educators will find helpful. The blog is an open forum with a comment section available after each post and we look forward to hearing from you about what you would like to see for future posts and videos.
The video below is the premiere of our new video series, Creating Games Content with the Entertainment Creation Suite. We’ll feature tips and tricks using the toolsets in the suite so you can get the best results on your projects. If you are new to Maya, Max, Softimage, Mudbox or Motion Builder or just need brushing up on certain features you can check out the library of free videos on the Autdoesk Learning Channels at this link: Autodesk YouTube Learning Channels
There is also a great Sketchbook site with tutorials here: http://www.sketchbook.com
Don't forget, Students and Educators can download free, fully functional, software and licenses for everything in the EC Creation Suite on the student community: Free Educational Software
Enjoy the premiere of the video series, Planning Your Character, Parts 1-3, with David Bentley and feel free to leave a comment and say hello!

I'm aspiring to be a character artist one day so the more stuff you show like this the better. Give me more quickly, please!

@Pro 1 Graphics - Good idea! What specific types of samples would you like to see? I'll look at setting up a download section in the coming weeks.
Regards,
Steve
