Games, Limb from Limb! | Eric Plante

Eric Plante is the Character Animation Product Manager for Autodesk's Games Technology. His first love was computer graphics, completing an M.Sc. in computer science and working in R&D at a small film production studio. He then joined Autodesk a first time as a graphics programmer for the Flame and Inferno visual effects systems, and left in 2004 to help start EA's shiny new development studio in Montreal. There, he made the switch away from programming and became a development director, also undertaking and completing an MBA during evenings and weekends. Since January 2010, he's returned home at Autodesk. He's an avid squash player and snowboarder, holds an advanced PADI SCUBA certification, and is the world's worst water-polo player. He also plays videogames (a lot).

Business Casual

What does the rise of casual games mean to the games industry? I submit that on the long run, it might not change a whole lot to how games are made, anyway.
