In this short video, I show the general workflow for creating a 3D camera solve from real world footage using Autodesk MatchMover 2013. The resulting data is then brought into Smoke's Action module and the 3D cloud of points are available for things like creating hierarchies of lights, other cameras, FBX geometry, 3D text, additional footage layers, etc.
