Autodesk Smoke 2013 for 3D Artists - Part I

Posted by visualz, 30 October 2012 8:26 pm

This is a revisit of a demo I created for SigGraph 2012 that highlights the new Autodesk Smoke 2013 software with emphasis to 3D production pipelines.  Since there was so much content generated, this will be part one of a mult-part series on the subject.

Stay tuned for part II and dont forget to download the trial of Autodesk Smoke 2013 while the trial is still available for FREE!

Not sure that deleting system files is ever a good idea. To make space using smoke 2008 you need to remove footage assets from project libraries. It might be a good idea to do project archives first if its important stuff you might need later

Gary,

Are you still planning on doing some more webinar a on 3D and Smoke? If you are, can you give us tips on faking IBL in Smoke? I'm thinking of the shiny, high gloss finish of the type seen on car spots.

Best,
Sandeep.
