Join us for a special webcast where we’ll update you on Project Excalibur (XBR). XBR is a restructuring of 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design that is intended to occur over three phases. It addresses fundamental improvements in workflow, UI, and performance. This update will provide more detail about UI, dynamics and viewport changes. You’ll be able to post questions for the development team.
There will be three opportunities to attend identical sessions held at different times on February 8th, 2011 . These webinar sessions will be recorded and those that register will be provided with a link to view the recordings.

Did you switch to another platform for the webinar? I can remember from the previous one that the conference-software could use some XBR-love itself

Not to go off-topic here, but a schematic material editor (Slate) was one of the most requested items ever I think.
And If I understood correctly Autodesk can't talk about specifics of upcoming product details because of a tax-law in relation to the subscription model, it's not that they re not willing to but they just can't.
These webinairs are a way to at least get some information out without breaking the rules I think.

But I am wondering why you have too at all ?
Is there a reason , will this info not be out in no time after the webinars?"
I think if you are registered and watching live, you can participate by asking questions and making comments.

1. improve your viewport navigation so it can handle million poly with an ease
2. improve your start up so it can open 3dsMax at a blink of eye
that s what I want from 3dsMax in the future.

I also hope everyone realizes this is about the long-term future and not events that occur in the next few months...
