I know these videos somehow involve 3ds Max, but I don't know much more than that. For some strange reason, they don't want to tell me more than this without signing an NDA. I think this is just a lame excuse. They probably think that I wouldn't understand the technical details since I'm just a product manager (it's common knowledge on the forums that Autodesk Product Managers don't know what they're doing). Anyway, I'm just passing these along because they look kind of interesting.

Judging by the render quality these videos were created using a biased renderer, such as V-Ray or Mental Ray. I'd love to see the GPU-powered iray in the next 3ds Max release, that'd be great.

I compared V-Ray and Mental Ray once. MR far surpassed V-Ray in quality. I guess thats why I stick with MR. Also, the dynamic reflection doesn't tell me anything. I dont see a difference from what MR already does. Am I missing something?
