Creating custom properties for 3D objects allows you to define meta data that can be part of the object but is not necessarily related to its 3D definition. This workflow is great for games assets but has also many applications in many industries. In this set of video tutorials, i cover 2 techniques for adding meta data (or custom properties) to objects. Just got back from an amazing Siggraph in New Orleans. We presented 3ds Max in the Autodesk theatre a few times a day and after the presentations, few questions were asked in private.
