In case you hadn’t noticed, I went “dark” a little while ago. I wasn’t allowed to write about Smoke 2013, not until our April 15th launch event. Then there was NAB, and a horde of curious attendees in the Autodesk booth.
I thank every single one of you who came to my demos, who came up to meet me at the pods, who attended Supermeet (and lived to tell the tale). I’m proud of the hard work that our design and development team accomplished, and I’m just as proud of the marketing and sales team that was manning the front lines at NAB to promote Smoke 2013.
I have to admit that I took a few days off after NAB, after talking about Smoke 2013 for a week straight, but I’m back in business, ready to answer all of your questions.
I’m looking forward to the summer and the fall, with the upcoming Pre-Release Trial, during which each and every one of you will be able to try a beta version of Smoke 2013. I hope you give it a good spin and report back; new forums, here on the Area, as well as on Creative COW, will be ready to receive your questions. A group of experts is on stand-by to answer.
Smoke 2013 is expected to ship in September. In the meantime, I encourage you to sign up for the Pre-Trial, in order to be notified when the software will be available in June.
Also, take a look at the playlist below; five Smoke 2013 Guided Tour videos that we produced in order to familiarize you with Smoke’s new look and features.
See you in the forums!

Or this will put too much stress on the system?
Trying to decide if I have to buy MC6 and Smoke or just wait for Smoke.
Thanks
