This is just a short blog that includes a finished rendering of the bike featured before (1920 x 1200). I'm also posting some stills that show different angles and close-ups showing more of the bike.
Hello everyone, so here's my first posting. The following movies are based on concept design content I design and build on my own time. The series consists of 8 postings of which this is the first one. I will post more of the series in the next few days.
This second post continues with some basic blocking and base modeling using a few deformers to prep it for texture paint in Mudbox.
The third session shows how you can go from Maya to Mudbox for texture paint and back to Maya. I'm including a 1 minute overview of the Mudbox UI as it relates to painting. I'm also exposing all the other parts to the bike so we can prep shaders and textures for it.
