Deploying Product Updates for 3ds Max 2012

As the Product Updates for 3ds Max 2012 are exe files, you first have to extract the msp files before you can deploy it to your workstations.
Download the update from Product Update 07 for 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design 2012 (This includes Product Update 6)
Note: You need to have Service Pack 2 installed before installing Product Update 7
Run the Product Update executable
Click on the Deploy button
Select the folder where you want to create the msp files
It takes couple of seconds to extract the msp files.
Once the files are extracted, click cancel to exit the Product Update executable.
Now you can deploy the msp files to your workstation and add it to your existing network deployment.
