pu 12 is coming really soon from what i understand so its not really a big deal. similar thing happened with maya 2013 update. waiting for the haters to completely blow this out of proportion.

How do I uninstall the update? Do I reinstall update 10? What if I just wait for 12 and install that instead?

To James:

Go to View installed updates in Control Panel; Programs; Programs and Features. Right click on the update (11) and select uninstall.

Thanks man!
That error report that popped up every time I quit Max was annoying.

This is really quite annoying actually, but the bigger issue is why didn't some sort of notice go out? I'm on subscription, but nothing showed up. And worse still is how I just got done applying this patch all my render machines. Doh!
