How to fix a blank State Set dialog (Subscription Advantage Pack)

If the state set dialog

looks like this

instead of

First of all don't panic: don't do a reset of the state sets (i've done that, it doesn't help and you'll lose all your state sets).

If this happens the window layout information in the user settings tends to be damaged so restarting 3ds Max isn't going to help either.

Instead use 'Reset Window Layout' from the States->Options menu:

Hi SuperCoon, like for Eric it works fine for me ... i'll dig around and i'll post if i find a solution.

Thanks. I would like a solution other that what Steve has described.

I would hate to have to redo all of my menu shortcuts.
