Online License Transfer in Autodesk 2010 Products

The application cannot obtain a license and appears to be pointing to the wrong license server
This issue can occur when you install more than one Autodesk product pointing to different license servers. The license server name is written to a registry key by the first application installed. Later installs will not modify this key. Uninstalling the first application installed will not resolve the issue.
All redundant servers in the pool shut down when stopping one license server
In a redundant license server environment, you used the LMTOOLS dialog or the LMUTIL command line tool to stop a single server and it shut down all the redundant servers.

Licensing Maya 2010 & 3DS Max 2010 on the same server

Creating multiple license server services
