There are also some interesting thoughts on the future of gaming which from this videos point of view are things like creating true emotional responses. A few months back a new site started up called postdreamer.com that aims to help people working in the post industry. Its still in Beta and is working to build up a critical mass of content but there are a number of good ideas here which could make it successful in its niche.

It seems some scientists have come up with an algorithum that can use two digital camera images, one taken with flash and one without, to extract high quality depth maps.

It looks like the iphone may finally be at a place where I would buy it. (that is if Canadian cell phone companies would actually carry it of course.) With the introduction of its SDK a number of useful business apps and most importantly cool games are finally on the horizon.
