GDC 2011 starts up this week and to kick it off I Just put out 3 different videos I shot with Autodesk Games customers.
Turbosquid is trying to get together as many siggraph attendees as possible to volunteer with them to help habitat for humanity the weekend before siggraph starts in New Orleans
For those of you that didn't make it out to a live event I thought I'd give you an update on what turned out to be a great time. I've been getting lots of great comments and just wanted to share some info.
Yep its that time of year again and I just wanted to remind everyone to check out everything that's going on. There are large events around the world and many smaller events held by independent User groups so hopefully one is near you. Come Network, learn and most of all, have fun.
I'm writing this from Amsterdam where we are currently presenting our products at IBC. If you ever wondered what flame, Smoke and Lustre do and why they they are so popular this is your chance to find out Our booth demos are being streamed live every day.
Today the User Group videos just went live on the siggraph page. For those of you that didn't make it to siggraph and also missed the live stream you can check it out now.
Siggraph is over and what a ride it was. Ultimately I think a good time was had by all. I hope a lot of you that didn't make it to the show had a chance to check out the live streams on AREA. If not my current task is to take the high res captures of everything we did and post them up on the AREA.
Its only a couple weeks away and Autodesk is very busy this year. Even if you won't actually be in LA this year come to the AREA to see live video of our events as they happen.
In just a few weeks we will begin editing our latest and greatest Siggraph show reel. This reel is a who's who of companies doing fantastic cg work with Autodesk products. Don't miss your chance to be included...
