Spacewarp, I'll be looking into the clock idea. We will also be doing a high and lo res stream next time so if you have higher bandwidth you can see the UI much better. The black space really exists to allow for the picture in picture of the presenter. I'm not sure how I can improve that yet. I have some ideas but they involve some funky player design and a fair bit of backend hardware and software changes to seperate the resenter image into a seperate controlable stream from the uI stream.

Yes, the streaming was a nice experience. Video quality was much better. Is it possible to show more screen space and a little less border? Maybe a second tip for the next event: Please show a running clock with the local time on the agenda so it will be easier to estimate the beginning of the show, if you are from another continent. All in all a very good show. Congrats!

Thanks for the feedback, yep it seemed like the right year to really push the online experience. With everyone in the industry cutting back a lot of people didn't get out that normally do (including a lot of Autodesk employees). We learned a lot about how we would do it different/better next year as well.

I can't tell you how much we enjoyed the streaming sessions. With cutbacks at our company, no work trips have been allowed for the last 9 months. It was great to still get to "be there" this year!!!
