At long last Maya BonusTools 2014 is/are out the door. Check out some of the new tools from the latest release.
With the release of Maya 2013 Extension you will now be able to boot Maya into a DX11 display mode. This will allow you to run DX11 (with HLSL shaders) directly in Viewport 2.0.
