I’ve added collision objects and turned on “Polygon” in the Dynamics rollout.  I would like to style with collisions turned on. But the “Toggle Collisions” button does not stay pressed when it is clicked in the Styling section.

The MaxScript listener says “$.modifiers[#Hair_and_Fur].ToggleCollisions()” every time the button is clicked.  No indication whether “Toggle Collisions” is on or off.

I get confused by this one as well. I remember it’s been like this for a while, so I checked it in versions 9, 08 and 09. It’s on them all, but the default setting when you first start styling is different. In 9 it’s on to start with, in 08 it’s off, and in 09 it’s on. This is what confused me, I thought collisions were not working at all, but I was clicking the button thinking I was turning them on, but was in fact turning them off.
I’m still not convinced that collision objects work with Pre-Computed Dynamics, I still get hair going through the skin mesh.
