Autodesk 3D Studio Max Studio/Design 32/64bit - These versions have these issues.
Curve Editor Issue since Max 2008
When adjusting one key-frame on a curve (say x axis) when the mouse releases that key-frame all 3 axis pop back up on the screen and zoomed out to time-frame. Very frustrating when animating.
Attribute Editor Issue
Using rigs for animation some have used attribute editor from previous versions of max, this is fine the first time it is loaded, however if you File > Open the scene again the attribute holder will not function. Need to close max and re-open it to solve the issue.
Anyone with solution?
Cheers
Vella.

Anyone have any updates? (Or is this considered a feature?)
From looking at the other issues with this release its not a biggie but dammed frustrating.
Only fix (sort of)- that I could find was by toggling on the Options>Interactive update -which seemed to solve the switching back to viewing all the curves at once + now I can see how my curves are affecting the actual objects position in space.
I have also noticed this issue only seems to happen on certain rigs- could be to do with some scripting associated with the rig.
If you play around in the editor with a simple object- the above issues do not seem to be there.

Cheers, interactive update works well for now, bit slow but it works. One problem with the interactive update is that it resizes the height in the curve editor to the extremes of the curve - quite annoying but a work around for now.
SP1 seemed to have fixed the issues of File > Open with the attribute holder. The Dee Rig seems to work if you open the original file, however trying to adjust the rig with already created animation seems to be an issue. Good for the next exercise though. (All functions work except the toggle High Res/Low Res in the above scenario).

Anyone still running into this “auto reframe” issue in the curve editor? I am using Max 2009 32-bit and it just started happening today. Haven’t been able to find a fix yet.
