After you and install the hotfix and use it for a few days please use the poll in this post to inform us if this hotfix has resolved your undo problems.

Thanks for the hotfix.

I don’t want to seem ungrateful because I am grateful.... but why aren’t subscription holders notified of these hotfixes?

Preferably by email.

The hotfixes don’t even show on the subscription website - which is pretty much worthless IMHO.

Just curious…

Hotfixes are not a subscription exclusive benefit. There will be a in product communication center announcement to all users shortly, I’m just giving you the info earlier.

I just installed the 64bit verson of this fix and lost the ability to do Undo’s. I uninstalled the fix and regained my use of “Undo.” It might have been something that I did (it usually is).

Max 2012(64) Win 7 - 64
NVIDIA Quadro FX 5800
Dual Xeon E5520 Six-Core, 3.33GHz

The hotfix is available from the usual Updates & Service Packs page.

As for notifications, there’s a “News and Annoucements” forum for Max - it would be useful if the Hotfix information was posted in there - possibly better than having them buried in a sub-forum.
Despite not being a subscription only fix, surely one of the benefits of being on subscription should be timely notification of such releases? Let’s face it - bulk emailing is not difficult - ask any spammer :P

Is anyone else having problems downloading this? It gets to 96% or so then stops…

Hi,
we have big problem with materials with bitmaps in 2010.
if we want to get the material form a other 2010 scene or form a matlib it dosent save the bitmap location.
even the hotfix 2009-5-19 from last week dosent solve this problem.

now there is a new 2009-5-19 hotfix from 2009-06-01 - and this dosent want to be installed ...

so far . hope its clear
