I know Area intends to support a great number of forums here....but with such a large number of Sub-forums, it forces the user to scroll down 3-4 pages (on a big monitor) just to find the forum they wish to browse.  This lead to poor interface design becaus the sheer amount of information and the user is trying to find a specific forum.

The simple solution is to provide a link directly to the forums of the Application the user desires.

solutions:

1.Discussions has a drop down menu for all applications (Max, May, etc etc) just like what Showcase has.
2. Horizontal links under the header for the Applications
3.  Links at the top of the forums that snap to the desired application
4.  edit in the preferances for which forums appear on the top

There will be some changes in the future.

Even more importantly there should be an easy way of revisting any threads that you have started or replied to. 

Some font options would be nice also.
