I am tired of having my Email address censored.
I know why it is censoring it, but I think we’re all mature enough here.
it is:

the censored part is:  @c o x.net
nobody can email me!
Please change this

I’m not going to disagree with you, the censor filter is a bit - aggressive - at times (as you noticed) and does need some attention.

I would say 2 things though:-
1) Advertising what would appear to be a private (personal) email address on a public site is just asking for it to be harvested and spammed to hell - probably not a good idea.
2) Anyone wishing to email you simply has to click your name (on the left, in the post’s title bar) which will take them to your profile with both an email and a PM link. Your email address is not revealed - it’s up to you to reveal it or not when you reply to the mail.

I’m not positive, but I think that you can’t attach files when you email from that, right?
Also, I have 2 Email addresses, one private for me, and one public one I just throw out there.  I have a really powerfl spam blocker too.:)

1) I’m not sure - I’ve never used it, and 2) fair enough - so long as you’re aware of the implications and can deal with them. Not everyone is (or can) hence my pointing it out :)
