I’m not a big html’er but noticed the code available when redoing my signature, so my question is this:
Does this GREEN COLOR (in my signature) look ok or is it a problem for those viewing?
Thanks,
Don

It’s OK here - using the “light” theme. It’s the bight colours - red, yellow, pink that cause a problem - the characters blur into one another making it difficult to read them.

Cool, I’ll leave it for now.
BTW, I use the Dark Scheme.
Thanks, Steve,
Don
PS- Is it worth the time getting hooked up to IRC?
Seems too time consuming and distracting…
(I’d have to focus only on that and keep up with it if it’s an ongoing conversation, like IM)

Well, I’m on IRC a fair bit of the time anyway - especially evenings, so I’m used to “keeping an eye on it” so to speak. mIRC will blink the button on the taskbar (it it isn’t the top-most app) when someone “talks” in a channel, so it’s easy enough to see when it’s busy or not. I just open it up periodically to see what I’ve missed :)
My only reservation about it (irc) is that any Q’s and A’s will be missed by most people - the forum is a better place really because everything is permanent and can be referred back to, searched etc. IRC is ephemeral - once it has scrolled off it’s lost (unless you keep permanent channel logs).

Only slightly off topic...this is probably a dumb question, but I have often heard references to these “light” and “dark” themes? What are these, and where are the controls to change them? I’ve looked high and low on Area but can’t see anything…

"the forum is a better place”
I think the forum is enough for me.
