Hi

After a long time not using my area account I want to delete it. Can anybody help?

Thanks

Why?

If your account is deleted then AFAIK all your posts will go too. As the main purpose of the Area is to help people who come searching for answers, if your posts are removed then that potential help goes too.

Would it not be sufficient to have the account suspended so it can no longer be used, but the posts remain? You can remove all your “thread subscriptions” (in your user profile) to prevent any future emails if that is a concern.

You’ll have to tell us which account - it’s clearly not “Sphere_zero” as it has only 1 post. I can try and find out for you what the situation is regarding account deletion and get back to you. You can PM me the real account details if you don’t want it made public.

Hi again,

Well, it is exactly this account “Sphere_zero” which has been created during the time of the first version of “AREA” but has not been used until now. I have thought that after some time without using, it would be deleted automatically. I am really surprised that it is still active. Because it has been never used nothing will be lost if it is deleted.
