Hi,

I was hoping someone can help me.

I’ve set up email notification on Max 2008 - which works fine as long as the rendering is done on my local computer. The format of the FROM field is in the following way:
email-name:username:password@domain.com

I set up this information in the render dialog from Max.

If I set this up as a network render and set up the email notification in the Backburner render dialog - I get no emails. I don’t know why!

Interestingly enough - if I set the info both on the Max render dialog as well as the backburner netrender - I do get the mail notification - but it comes right when I submit the netrender (because just then it left max, revealing the render dialog again, and reports as if the render is complete).

I don’t understand how I can get it to work well on the netrender, as well as it works on local render. Does the email actually get sent from the computer that is the Net-Manager? Do I need to do something specific with that computer?

Thanks.
