How to search for all my old postings..??

I have an answer to my question but i can’t fin it in the discussion anymore, and the search tool doesn’t help one bit… any sugestion to retrieve my old postings..?

Help..

Before they changed the forum, there used to be a function where you could list all the threads a member had posted in, but we seem to have lost that. One thing you can do to find your own posts, is to go to your profile and click the Subscriptions tab, it will list all the threads you are subscribed to, but since the subscriptions are not automatic anymore, you may be missing some.

This function has been mentioned to the site developer(s) a couple times, but at the moment is still not functional

I still didn’t understand why did they remove the automatic subscription feature, i messed a lot of topics i have posted in, i don’t get notification email… :\

Ya, this is stupid. The entire point of a forum is dialogue. If you can’t find your old posts or the search won’t send you result based on a username, then the dialogue is gone and the basic and fundamental functionality of a community is reduced.

Kind of makes signing up and posting a fruitless endeavor if you posts just fade away into nothingness and can’t be recalled when needed again or by others.

Like right now, for me. I’m looking for a post I replied to, months ago, but its gone. It can’t be located because I can’t even see my OWN posts. Niiice.

Yep, totally maddening and a shining example of the string of bad decisions with the Area (vs old forums) and direction of 3ds Max itself :)
