Hello shanedidona

Sorry for the late reply. I see you tried to reset your password on February 8. Did that work? Did you receive the password reset email?

No, I did not get the email.  I’ve tried several times after that with the same result (no email).

it seems that the issue (no outgoing password recovery emails) is still an issue?

Ya we still see this issue for some users. We are actually working on a fix that will go live this week.

I’m posting this from my 4th account i had to register because the Area password recovery eMails never arrive.

Strangely enough the Autodesk ID password recovery system works, but apparently those accounts do not work on the Area ? At least i could not log in with my Autodesk ID account.

Oh well.

They are 2 completely separate systems - the AD logins won’t work here.

Just to make sure and clarify again, in case this looks like i have been trying to log into the Area only with an Autodesk ID account - i did have several Area specific accounts in the past, and no password reminder eMails ever arrived.

There was also not any “Welcome to the Area” Mail when i made this new account.

Is there maybe some behind the scenes blocking of certain eMail providers going on that the user isn’t being warned about while trying to open an account ?
Then again i’m not using one that is “shady” at all, so it would be surprising if thats the case.

The autodesk logins and those here are totally separate - no links at all, so unless you created an identical account here (not recommended, as a general principle) they they will always be different.

I’m not aware of any domain blocking going on, though that’s a bit “above my pay grade” so to speak.

Yes i know, thats why i tried to clarify again that this problem is not tied to me trying to login with an Autodesk ID account, but getting password reset for an old Area i definitely had and posted on the Area before with.

Just trying to mention that the “no eMails arrive” problem of the Area is apparently still there.
