Are the [FA]s seeing these reports? There’s no “feedback” at all - no way of knowing (unless one bookmarks the offending thread/post and checks them periodically) that anything has been done.
I’m not suggesting we get a blow-by-blow account, but something like an email “read receipt” which says that the report has been read. Not an automated “thanks for the report” but an actual “yes, this report has been read (by an [FA]) and the matter will be looked into”. Whether any action is taken is, of course, entirely up to the [FA]s, but the silence, to coin a phrase, is deafening.

Hi Steve. Sorry I’ve been absent from the forums for a while.

I’m assuming you’re referring to “Report” feature for problem posts, spam, etc.  To be honest, I don’t know who receives the “Report” alerts. It’s definitely not FA’s who get them. If you see something that needs to be looked into, kindly PM one of the FA’s. Darv is a good bet. :)

Hi Anna - long time no see ;)

I thought Tim mentioned that you did get them - I could have been mistaken though. Maybe there’s a “hidden” forum where the reports go as posts for you to look at?

I have reported one or two - that’s what prompted me to post this thread. The question of “who to contact” has come up (in Off Topic) by another user (not me, this time), so your timing is [excellent | spooky | pure coincidence] (delete as appropriate) ;)

Hello Mr. Platinum Member ;) ... I too have been mostly absent due to so much work, but I also have not received any notifications of reported posts, so I don’t know where they get reported… I’ll look around and see if there is a forum or if they get reported to the Admins, not the FA’s.  :)

Hello to Ms. FA also ;) .

I heard my name and thought I would drop in.

Nope. I don’t get to read any thing.

Ok - my mistake then - I thought y’all got them.

My original questions remains then - what happens to these “reports”? Are they ever looked at and acted upon?

The reports go to a secret lockbox only accessible to Super Admins. ;p

Hello Mr. Cheemalapati, Mr. Wilbers. :)
