Is there a way for the RSS feed to show the latest contribution to a thread rather than the first? (i.e. I prefer to follow forums from the RSS feed rather than have to navigate to the site and scroll down to find the newest posts.

Thanks

This is a Site question, not a Smoke question - thread moved appropriately.

Can’t help with the RSS as I don’t use it, though it seem as though the RSS is at the Forum level, not the thread level.
If you Subscribe to a thread you’ll get email notifications for new posts (but not comments) in that thread, which may be an alternative.

I second this.
The autodesk autodesk feedback does it really well:
https://3dsmaxfeedback.autodesk.c...s/1490623-q-select-object

At autodesk feedback:
The original post results in an RSS item including the text, the next comment results in a new RSS item, that includes the original post text, and the comment text. And the next comment the same etc. etc. etc.

Steve you should try and get into RSS it improves news overview allot.

I use netvibes for RSS feeds (see attached file)

I read the Max forums as normal, then use the New Posts on the main forum list which shows new posts on the entire forum. Not much escapes me :)

Right… but that limits you to this one site…

True, but I don’t monitor loads of sites all the time. Specific threads on occasion (subscribed) but not entire sites, which I have to do here.

So how about it?
Is there any chance we can see an update of the RSS system on this site? who do we contact?

In connection to this subject… some sites has a rating on answers to posts so the “best answer” gets highlighted… i find myself looking for this when surfing here.
