My search function doesnt work ie it never returns any results. I have tested the search on known keywords at known locations but it still returns nothing.

I thought it was firefox so I tested it on IE. IE worked but I noticed that I wasnt logged in in the IE version. I then returned to firefox and unlogged myself. The search now works.

So basically, I cant seem to use the search function when I’m logged in!!!! Anyone else have this? Any solutions to this?

Cheers

If it fails to find something I know is there, I normally resort to google.

site:area.autodesk.com/forum <search terms>

That searches all of them, restricting it to specific area such as Max will cut down on the number of results,

I have also had no luck with the search box, how long has it been broken? Isn’t this a paid service?

It isn’t broken, it’s just not as good as it could be. And no, this is not a “paid for” service - it is simply a forum (plus some other stuff) which happens to be provided by Autodesk.
