Awesome job! Maybe you get to consider the use of HDR for realistic reflection.

Wow very nice! Specially the wires and all stuff that are visible from the exhaust areas Its awesome!
And about that robot on earth… Its basically awesome! Except for the earth’s texture… But, it is wow!
and as stuffedincg… said, make an army and also a huge satellite above all of them with lights all around( an UFO).. Wow! Imagine that!
If area has conducted another contest with huge robots I’m sure that images gonna win! :)

Your best work yet. As c12hris said, an HDRI would improve the lighting and reflections. Good modeling. If he is rigged, will you try some cool action poses?

The robots need more dynamic poses and the F22s look way too flat.

I agree. It’s way too flat. I think the problem is you made the planes reflective. If you look at pictures on the internet you can’t normally see the ocean in the plane’s wings. Also, the edges need to be harder. Instead of modeling it as one solid object, it would be better to model it in pieces.

OK thanks :) oh and btw i can’t make an army cuz when i try i copy one robot 3 or 4 times and it gets to be 1,000,000 polys and when i copy 4 robots 3 times it is 8,000,000 polys and then it crashed :(.

Try Instancing. It can get you a ton more polys. Here is an old instance test I did on a GeForce 7300LE, only problem is the frame rate.:) Before instancing, try to reduce the number of polys for the robots farther away, since they will not be as large.
