some of my models are now HDRI.
i have also added 1 new model (the last 1)

(the only reason that im making my models in small spaces such as a shelf or a box or in a corner is because i want to gain experience then after that i will make rooms, houses a city ETC.)

I see you added two new images.  I can’t tell which one(s) has HDRI.
The new image with the table and the chair has a very odd location for the light source.  Look at the shadows on the table - they are offset from the objects.  Try relocating the light source higher.  What are you using for the rendering?  Doesn’t appear to have any GI in it.

Lighting looks good in those teacup scenes.  And just so you know, you can upload your own portfolio to this site, and always keep that updated, but whichever you prefer.  How long you been using Max?

It is GI, not GL - upper case i looks like a lower case L - Global Illumination.

Check out the animation in the 2nd row, first one on the left - good example of GI

i tried using the global illumination but i noticed no difference with it enabled.
does it need experience or just playing with the settings a bit will make my scene look better? (i tried the global illumination on the scene that contains houses.

Here are the images in order

#1 Coke Bottle: Modeling is pretty good, and so is the material on the bottle, there is a problem with the mapping though, as the small Coca Cola lettering above the big lettering is cut off, also the top of the can needs reflectivity.
#2 The materials need a lot of work in this one, the floor at least needs some reflectivity, everything looks like it is floating, the candles aren’t giving off any light, and are floating, the middle of the bath (I think it is a bath), is low poly (the part around the water), also the blue ball things around the bath are an unrealistic material, other than a glow-in-the-dark ball, I don’t know anything that has that type of material, the bricks in the background need a bump map applied to them, and the Chinese writing is distorted. Also work on your lighting, I can’t give you specific crits on lighting like what to do, but play around with it.
#3 Good model, and the texture needs reflectivity.

That is it for now, I’ll come back with crits for the other images later.

Hope this Helps
