The apples shouldn’t be that hard to model…
The apples themselves are easy, but the bites out of them, is what I don’t exactly know how to do...
It can be done by vertex paint (i don’t know if it is the correct name) after finishing the lathe.

i didnt model the apples, as i said i want help on modeling the bowl in the apple scene.
Draw the profile of the bowl with a line, move the pivot to the lower opening of the line, and add a lathe modifier, you might have to mess around with the options to get the right result. If the numbers below formed a line you’d place the pivot where the 6 is.

The modeling is good, the lighting and rendering just needs work.
Lighting takes a while to get a hang of. And to make your scenes look good before you learn how to make your scenes look good with lighting, try creating a ceiling, and add to the ceiling an architectural material with a luminance value (the higher the value, the brighter your scene will be). Then enable final gather and render, you’ll like the results, even if it won’t be 100% correct, it will be good for now until you learn how to set up lighting well.
Great modeling as I said, keep it up.
