Hi, I had joined to binarydivinity.com’s Renderman to Maximum course, and had no problems about there weekly classes they were extreamly good and helpful.
now there is no update for a month on there website, and now the site is also disappeard....
Is anyone have any news about binarydivinity.com...whats wrong with them? tried to mail them but they are not responding to any mail.

Same with me…
I really hope it’s gonna be back soon!
But this disappearing thing is strange, I don’t know what to think…

C:\>ping binarydivinity.com
Unknown host binarydivinity.com
Same with a www prefix.
The implication is there is no current DNS record for that site. This could be a temporary problem (a mixup by the hosting company) or permanent (the site no longer exists). No easy way to find out unless you have a phone number or a snailmail address to try contacting them.
Max 4.2 through 2013.
XP-64 (SP2)
NVidia 9800GTX-512 (Driver 266.58).
Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz, 8Gb Ram, DX9.0c.

if it were a hosting issue, they would’ve done something about it by now. It’s safe to say they shut down and took a lot of people’s money. It’s sad as there are very few affordable options for learning Renderman, except via the dull books.
People interested should send massive amounts of emails to the registrar of the site:

I bought several of their courses, and never got the chance to actually download them all (the downloads were slow at times), so that’s hundreds wasted.
I really hope they get back online, their content was good, prices were great, and the people working there seemed very nice.
Hopefully someone is just on vacation.

Hi all!
I am in the same case than you… I have bought the Renderman Courseware but… no news about Binary Divinity for a long time now. After a lot or researches, i have found informations about the Binary Divinity website, and i found a phone number…
Now I have more news about Ramon Lopez from Binary Divinity.
I have called his wife living in Spain because i wanted to know more about this man. I didn’t talked a lot because she doesn’t speak english but… she told me Ramon died 2 years ago…
That was very strange… why is he connected to youtube everyday and why Binary Divinity were launched during summer 2008 ?
There are 2 possible explanations that i can see…
1. His wife lies, and in this case, Ramon is a just a thief.
2. Ramon is dead but somenone has stolen his identity…
I don’t understand… I think Binary Divinity will never come back but there is someone behind this. Who?

I did think in buying the CAOS classes ($130 dollars), explaining the whole zbrush - 3ds max workflow, however, they shut down like a month ago and the site never came online ever again. Maybe someone can contact the Artists who were selling their tutorials through binarydivinity?

I spoke to one of their former tutors and they are just as bad off as the students it seems. Looks like they weren’t paid and the guy just made off with the students money. :(
