Awesome peice of engineering - and here’s me being confused by a standard domestic lighting circuit…

I love some of the comments at the bottom:

“83:  by their calculations, there’s a 1 in 50 million chance of creating a black hole and consuming the earth. there are 6.6 billion people alive on the earth. turning this thing on is the moral equivalent of killing 132 people. nobels all around!

I’ve dusted off my hazard suit and charged the battery.

Has anyone seen my crowbar?

A comment below the pics: “Don’t worry, they have confirmed that the chance that a sustainable black hole will form and consume the earth is quite small.”

Good to know there’s a better chance of destroying the solar system than winning the lottery.

Edit: another good one:

“4th photo....

Man 1: So, you ready to blow up the world today, Ralph?
Man 2: *sigh* Might as well, Bob. Might as well.”
