I thinking about upgrading my HP notebook’s hard drive to a faster higher capacity one. How do I tell what type of hard drive interface my notebook is using without opening the case???

My notebook is a HP Pavillion dv6700

I went to HP’s website and the interface is SATA. Does this mean any 2.5” SATA drive will work???
