Okay, I have modeled a fantasy crab-clawed manga fairy using Maya 2011. I don’t know what to use it for, so I made a low-poly, and a high-poly version of it in the scenes and a low-poly and a high-poly render of my model. The zip file I attached contains the renders, and a copy of the scene for the low, and high-poly versions.

Note: I didn’t UV map, texture, or even animate the character I modeled. This is because I want to see what various ideas come out of my model, but please, only make textures, or animations, or, preferably both. I would love to see your renders of my model posted here. I would love it also if anyone would be willing to make an animated texture of the face (possibly anime-manga style). The model has no actual modeled facial features. You could post your animations on my model, if you want to do that here. If not, just post an image render or two.

Also, you may adjust the geometry to your liking, but please try to keep it mostly in its original form.

I’m giving this out for free, but if you use it in anything, please quote my username after the words ‘the model “Manga Crab Claw Fairy” was made by: ‘.

Thanks!
Happy texturing and animating!
