Best is in the eye of the beholder and comparing software packages in this tenor is discouraged here.

1st statment : Not for one second i do not doubt the abilty and technology behind AD products , there winning the UK / World market for a reason ,
2nd : people on the other fore mentioned forum at least have freedom of speach and voice there concern’s , which can be said is more than some !
3rD : I spent nearly £1500 on a peice of software , which i want a good ROI , but also good justification
4rth : if your not going to reply i can understand your concerns , maybe i should have worded the thread better and not made it so bletant ! thus i apoligize !
5th : i belive atm there are great people on all formats that can infulance and shape the world , but if you dont have something to say “ well its lost cause “
6th : this is not competition or conquest in where a software is better or worse ,im only wanting to know “ you the user “ knows its strong and weak points !
7th: have i made the correct choice by moving over to MAX for the UK market , was it worth my time not spending my cash on the NT product CORE and buying MAX .
8th : a forum is about community and belonging , yet i have seen none of this !

anoyed ! OR

good luck and the best !

The point is that threads such as this have a bad habit of degenerating into a slanging match. This does nothing to answer the original point / question and does nothing for the overall quality / friendliness of this site, thus you will probably find very few takers given the topic title.

Plus we (admins) really don’t like having to lock or delete threads because they’ve gone completely off the rails :-(

How much time have you spent reading the forums here so far, you should pickup that this is a community forum where people enjoy
helping others and carrying on conversations about all things 3D/2D.
Whether you made the right choice I have no opinion since I’ve never used LW, except just before buying Max (2000).
I didn’t particularly like it’s (LW) interface approach (don’t even really remember what it was now).
My opinion is that you will get your money out of Max it’s got plenty to commend it, much more now than when I chose it 9 years ago.
Dig in and expect results, you’ve made your choice go with it!

:)

Welcome to the forums!
Don
