What do u know about this project of autodesk, please review the page and comment.
This is a new technology that’s been developed for autodesk for future trials, u wont need to download or install it.

I know nothing about it, but seems this is how things are moving or want to move.
Since it’s where the technology is going, if you are to continue you will have to follow.
But saying you don’t have to download or install like they are doing you a favor is deceptive, I think.

I think it is a great idea. The amount of stolen products through demo cracks is beyond a joke.

Unfortunately companies need to protect there IP… that means educational sites moving to non download tutorials and so forth.

It is a shame the attitude of entitlement has gone so far on the web… and people always find away to steal products but it is us a community that pay that suffer through the thefts, not the thieves unless they are caught… we pay inflated prices, can no longer have physical downloads etc… but whats a company meant to do?

Stop stealing software.

Maybe the time is coming when we no longer have a PC but only an interface and online hard drive. And that is surely just the beginning …remind me a movie I saw some years ago. ;)

Fair enough with the trial version, to protect themselves from piracy. But I hope this is not really some piot scheme for doing the same thing with the actual real products in the future. Making your daily work totally dependant internet connection is going to be a big problem for some.
They need to recognise that not everybody is working in the city centre with contant, reliable, stable and fast broadband connection. Some don’t even want their machines to be connected.
