Hi all, I’m learning with Maya 2011 and I’m interested in character modeling and animation for game development. Maybe short films too. I hope to enter the local 3 minute film festival next year.

I’m also taking a figure drawing class (life drawing) at the community college. The instructor is great; but the reading list is lengthy. I am just interested in learning some basic anatomy that’s relevant for 3d modeling and character modeling. Can anyone recommend some books on this list? It could be pretty time consuming my me to find all the books, so if someone can recommend like the top two or three for my direction that would be great.
